Shen Wei Dance Arts
Shen Wei Dance Arts has been creating dynamic interdisciplinary, cross-cultural performance since its founding at the American Dance Festival in 2000. Each work uses visual and storytelling elements from the theater, Chinese opera, and traditional and contemporary visual art. The result combines dance with strong scenic elements to create what the Sydney Herald Sun calls “ a fascinating fantasy in movement.” In 2010, the ADF celebrates the 10th anniversary of this fast-ascending company.
