ADF Musicians Concert

A dancer doesn’t always have the opportunity to take technique class with live accompaniment, but they have that privilege everyday at the ADF. The Festival’s virtuosic musicians take center stage this Friday, June 25 at Reynolds Industries Theater for a moving evening featuring original compositions, drum solos, and vocal acrobatics. This concert proves to be a hit year after year.

ADF’s Community Education Outreach

Valuing the importance of community and education, the ADF continues to dedicate time and resources to providing youth the opportunity to explore their full potential through dance. ADF’s Community Education Outreach initiatives/classes have encouraged numerous youth to take advantage of the many benefits a dance education has to offer. CyberDance returned to Gaspard Louis’ creative movement class for children at El Centro Hispano in downtown Durham.

Behind the Scenes of Reynolds Industries Theater and DPAC

CyberDance went behind the scenes at the ADF performance venues to speak with Production Stage Managers Tiffany Schrepferman and Kirsten Leon. We learned how the production crew, which is comprised of both professional staff and ADF students, loads in sets and props, focuses lights and checks the sound for companies arriving at the theater.
