Volunteers are always needed in the Archives. Scanning photos, duplicating videos, and arranging archival materials are some of the tasks volunteers may perform.
During ADF's summer season, the Archives hires a paid intern to assist in the video documentation and preservation of the Festival's performances and events. Applications are taken in February. For more information on summer internships, see Employment.
The Archives also collaborates with local graduate schools, such as North Carolina State and the University of North Carolina, to sponsor interns for specific projects and ongoing archival management.
