Scottish Dance Theatre

After a well-received performance by two of their dancers at last year’s ADF Gala, Scottish Dance Theatre has returned to DPAC for their full company’s US Debut! Performing three pieces by some of today’s most exciting and innovative American and European choreographers, the Scottish Dance Theatre has been working hard to ready their festival shows this season.   Acting Artistic Director James MacGillivray and Acting Rehearsal Director Joan Cleville sat down with the ADF Blog to discuss the creative process and versatility intrinsic to a repertory dance company. Rather than work with an in-house choreographer, the dancers at SDT learn and interpret works from a variety of choreographers—thus making each new work an exciting new journey into movement, expression and meaning.   Don’t miss Scottish Dance Theatre’s final ADF performance tonight, June 23rd!
