ADF Season Opener This Thursday!

Posted in Festival '12, 2012.

The clouds have parted, the lightning bugs are out… which means it’s time for the ADF season to open! Here at ADF headquarters, pencils are sharpened, welcome folders printed, and we’re ready for the stampede of students arriving this week for our Six Week School. The HU/ADF bus is heading down from Virginia with our MFA students and our world-renowned ADF School faculty are poking their heads into our offices, ready to get started. And rumor has it that Doug Elkins & Friends and the Stephen Petronio Company are on their way to the airport as we speak!   If you haven’t secured your tickets yet to Doug Elkins & Friends’ Fräulein Maria tomorrow night, don’t wait! It’s a show you won’t want to miss. Blending dance styles of every kind to the original musical score of The Sound of Music, it’s a brilliant reimagining of the classic love story. For a sneak peek of what’s in store for us tomorrow, check out the video above. There are many ways to purchase tickets – click here for more information.   For more of these videos on upcoming performances this season, check out ADF’s Inside Insights video project.
